The player outbursts you're seeing now

kind of like when players refuse to play unless they get new contracts...right in the middle of their already signed contracts

Yes, it bad for that player in the long run. Teams will hire someone else.

Good/great players will go elsewhere. Tell Tepper to behave himself. And buy a suit.

The owner of ten thousand chariots should not be seen acting lightly in public.

1 sentence is about a personal issue that many people in the Carolina's and across the world would find wrong.

Have all the kids you want, no problem with me. Don't cheat on your wife while she is carrying your child and get another pregnant.

Take this poo to the TB where it belongs.

We can both agree that the panthers offer was a hoax.

Cam wanted some sort of extension, the commitment video proved that.

Every player wants an extension when the time comes.

But no, the Panthers never offered him one. Nor were they going to.

They did want to extend him, just not five years.

I knew the moment that that fake report was posted here that some of y'all were going to try and bring it up as fact later and will continue to do so years down the road.

Yes, he did want an extension and Carolina said no.

Then he called their bluff and made it clear he was willing to play on the final year of his contract and the childish, diseased Carolina management, who thought they had Cam over a barrel, panicked.  And their true nature was revealed.

Are what they've been doing behind the scenes when JR was here.

Gettleman gets fired 2 seasons removed from a SB appearance days after the draft why? Because it was time to give Shaq TD's role and Greg Olsen was getting old. JR axed him when he tried to disband 1/4 of the family.

Fast forward to 2020... Olsen ADMITS on Twitter the Panthers would not give him a deal he wants and the Panthers post they mutually decided to part ways after Olsen declined their offer. Olsen goes on twitter and says they lied when days earlier he said they couldn't come to an agreement.

TD gets his face in the mix. He pulls a 180 on us WEEK SEVENTEEN and decides to return and wonders why we don't want to re-sign an aging LB when Shaq has been waiting to even get out of the rotation.

Cam has been hurt whether people like it or not. Nobody knows the plan for Bridgewater at the moment, but as professional, Cam's outburst on twitter was uncalled for.

Giving a player permission to look for a trade does not automatically= we mutually agreed to anything. Many times it means that the organization wants to give a long-time player the chance to find a place they're comfortable going to with their current contract. They could easily cut him and have every right to.

Either way, back to the subject, this has been happening behind the scenes for years... 100% of us can agree Marty Hurney is a yes man and always will be. The assistant GM conversation is already coming up, I think Hurney is going to retire soon after getting some good retirement checks stowed away during his 2nd run in Carolina. He has likely agreed to be the fall guy for bringing the Richardson era guys out of here as Tepper gets his guys in.

We are probably going to suck in 2020, I don't think the goal is to get better in 2020, but this is 9/10 not normal. Nick Foles didn't jump on the Eagles in 2014 when they replaced him with Sam Bradford... this doesn't happen.

P.S to all Panthers (now alumni) who are jumping on our staff and Owner... DECLINING AN OFFER IS A MUTUAL PARTING.

Edit: Cam started the first by announcing his return prematurely when DT and Marty wouldn't speak up about the matter and put a rookie NFL HC in a bad situation. That's honestly why I think Cam is gone.

Don't post anymore of this nonsense you have a knack for with silly comments like this one

    • The bad thing is that Xavier Legette kind of ignored the Jugs machine his rookie season. The good thing is that he's committed to it now. Catching is important to an NFL receiver (sarcasm), but, perhaps just as important is a receiver's---any player's---mindset.  "This offseason, the young wideout has gotten back to something in terms of preparation (Jugs machine). 'Oh man, it’s always been something I’ve done, and I don’t know why, but I felt like I could take a little breath,' explained Legette (via Darin Gantt of Panthers.com). 'And when you’re playing in this game, you can never do that. It’s always a way to get better, and that’s one of the ways to help with catching. For sure, for sure. In my mind, I’m thinking about ways, things I can do. What can I do to have less drops this coming season in Year 2? 'The whole mindset has changed, man,' added Legette. 'Trying to do anything I got to. I’m sacrificing a lot of things that I used to do outside of the building to put my work inside the building.'" https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/xavier-legette-focused-on-reducing-drops-that-plagued-rookie-year-with-panthers-01k1692c0tz9 So, yeah, it wasn't good coming in taking some things for granted, but Legette is young. His mentality appears to have changed and he appears to be maturing and he's been putting in a lot of work by all accounts.  I know some of you are down on him, but I still have faith. Last season was a disjointed mess in its entirety, but there were still some flashes, particularly with route running. With Legette's seemingly better fit as the WR2, mindset and focus---doing his actual job catching the ball---he should be able to improve. Lastly, I'd like to add, props to Legette for being so open about the need to improve and change his mindset. Some guys wouldn't necessarily admit that publicly. If nothing else, he's honest and down-to-earth.
    • It is worth noting the fanbase has long held a love hate relationship with PFF over the years. Now that we are employing some of their people and actively using their data in our roster building approach going forward this should serve as the end all be all to any debate. This is either going to end really well or really bad. It's the Panthers. So save your energy and give it some time.
    • And to be honest, we weren't really talking about PFF grades either. I brought it into the conversation via a pic that's LLM-related (which apparently some Huddlers took issue with) as an aside for providing more specificity than just sheer numbers
