yes. its football......weather is included in the game (or should be) imo....minnesota is retarded.....they could have a brutal home field advantage.....like chicago or greenbay....but instead they are hindering themselves cause they gotta play in GB and CHI in the winter....harsh winter....and they arent used to it (they are used 72 degrees)

dumb. just dumb.

I would just about assure you they have an outdoor practice field so I don't see them practicing indoors unless they play at home that week. I'm just assuming, they might not.

Zod, I actually agree with you 100%. They should do away with domes in pros and in college. Watching the goal posts almost blow over annually at a couple of games in Buffalo is awesome. Same at Lambeau. Should be part of the game...

I will openly admit, the only way we have a shot at the SB is to go thru a dome. This team is not built for cold (i.e. going to NY or Philly in January). That being said; there is nothing like outdoor football.

There's nothing like those post season games in the snow in Pittsburgh or Foxboro. That last SB in Miami was awesome with the downpour when Indy/Chicago played.

I can understand a team like N.O. using a dome, since they have to deal with hurricanes. If Carolina's team was in Wilmington, I could see it being in a dome.

Now teams like Atlanta that play in a dome...they are just plain SOFT! Atlanta has beautiful weather, but they play their games indoors.

Can't figure that one out.

    • Yep, like I said, I don't mind guaranteeing them money, but make the contracts smaller amounts in order to minimize cap implications. I don't know about "half," the actual amounts, whether more or less than half, would have to be determined by the NFL and NFLPA (which will probably be highly contentious, if not "impossible").  I'm just for whatever leads to the best product on the field while also unaffecting my wallet. As an aside, the NFL owners are greedy bastards in my estimation. They're trying to keep a larger portion of the pie, but players' agents are greedy as well, and they've sewn seeds of greed among the players. It's not all their fault; we all know what our society has evolved into, but the NFL wants a bigger piece of our smaller pocketbooks and refuses to "negotiate" with us (that's why we don't have cheaper and more reasonable à la carte options to view games that they're gradually trying to migrate to paid TV), so fu<k 'em. And then on top of that we have guys trying to water down the product even more by feeding greed. Change the way things are done so that we can at least see players prove themselves on the field without throwing wrenches into the engine that pays guys that have proven they can play on a pro level.
