Wilson's got a big one Friday night vs Boise State. We'll see if BYU is up to snuff or not.

You're absolutely correct.  Its the most important game currently on his schedule and should go a long way to determining his draft stock.

Trask gets Georgia too this week which is his toughest test too, but honestly I'm more interested in Pitts and Toney in that game.

I'm going to make a thread in the main Forum on Thursday for that game. Any objections? Wilson getting a lot of eyes from our fanbase. Why not?

Yeah why not. If he plays well he's certainly should be one of the prospects in play for round 1 then.

I was watching the Michigan vs Indiana game yesterday and was quite impressed with the QB from Indiana Penix 6' 3".  He made some amazing throws and can stretch the field.

He's only a junior but I was impressed with his quick release.

It was the only game I saw but he has Indiana heading to the Top 10.

I'm not saying he's a top prospect but I definitely think he'll be picked next year unless he declares after the season.

The other QB I was impressed with was D'Eriq King from Miami.  I think his biggest downfall is his height.  5' 11".

There wasn't much more to get for Wilson with BYU's OL dominating. Might need to look into their LT more after that game (I already like what I'm seeing so far from WR #5).  Houston game remains the best bet to get a feel for him.

I'm completely off Trask at this point but Pitts is undeniably special.  Georgia's CB #27 (Stokes), who I already liked continued to impress as well.

I've been keeping an eye on Cincinnati's Desmond Ridder lately too.  Very athletic and some good arm strength but inconsistent with his accuracy.

I haven't looked closely at Penix but he is dragging Indiana into relevance this season.

King feels like the type of prospect that converts to slot WR in the NFL because of his size but I haven't watched him closely at Houston or Miami.

King has a poor deep ball and he's probably closer to 5'9".

Not sure he's a Slot WR either - he's not that type of athlete.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
