I'm pretty sure you're smart enough that no one has to explain to you the fundamental differences between driving around in separate cars and lining up shoulder to shoulder nose to nose across a line of scrimmage that the two sports have when it comes to social distancing. It's even easier for pit crews to social distance than secondaries because at some point db's have to close on the ball wheras you can change all four tires on a race car without being much closer than six feet from each other.

NASCAR has shown it's possible for NASCAR. That pretty much has zero bearing on how possible it might be for the NFL.

Yes they are not slobbering on one another. Still facts remain- hundreds of people are traveling across state lines and gathering at locations. They proven that part can be done and have so for over a month. Even the "simple" task of feeding these groups is monumental. Lodging too is another huge problem along with many many other protocols. Even getting the event broadcast would be another huge problem, but nascar has done that too. If you believe that information/knowledge is not beneficial to the NFL, well I honestly dont what to say.

Watching the race right now. You can see cars in the parking lot and there are fans in the stands. It's not full or anything like that, but fans are there. You got to know the rest of the major sports are paying attention to what they are doing!
