Dan Parr of Pro Football Weekly is reporting that the Miami Dolphins want to trade 3rd year WR/KR Ted Ginn, Jr., after this season, and that they might only be able to get a late round draft pick for him.

Would the Panthers be wise to offer a 4th rd pick for Ted Ginn,Jr.?

Maybe for a 6th (if we have one). I don't think he has what it takes at receiver but he is definitely worth that just for his kick returning.

he wouldn't be so bad if he didn't insist on sticking his hands in a tub of lard each time he went out on the field.

i'd rather not deal with him.

dolphins were fools for drafting him 10th overall.

plus...look at this contract:

7/27/2007: Signed a five-year, $19.6 million contract. The deal includes $14 million guaranteed. 2009: $677,917, 2010: $1,035,833, 2011: $1,393,750, 2012: $1,801,667 (Voidable Year), 2013: Free Agent
not sure he's worth that.

He went 9th but I agree he shouldn't have went that early.

gotta link?

hopefully this means we get a #1 WR in the draft or trade/free agency.......dez bryant would be great. ginn is a garbage ass WR......runs lazy poo routes, drops balls, and has a learning disability which causes him to have to "get warm" to even do anything as a WR......please trade him....im sick of him. dont let his one good game returning kicks fool you.....hes soft...he runs out of bounds instead of picking up first downs, he has terrible yards after catch.....i cant wait to get rid of him

cam cameron is a a-hole.....drafting ginn #9 overall instead of patrick willis or darelle revis.....whata joke

Fin, I really did think Saban would do better than that in the pros. Everyone in Miami must hate him...

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
