1. Because Luck is the QB that has had as much hype as Lawrence.

2. Yes. If Jake Delhomme was a franchise QB, then teddy can also be that.

1. Luck made the playoffs 4 out of 6 years.  His franchise failed him in protecting him.  (sounds familiar).  Andrew Luck was an above average qb which is the floor for Trevor

2. Fair enough.  I just dont think so.  Would you rather have teddy or draft Trevor/Fields/Lance if the situation arose?

that was sarcasm dude, lol. because you come up with a definition ("coverage") but then apply it selectively to only the specific times in a game you decide are garbage time (hint: they relate more to the score! than to the coverage!). I was clowning on you.  I've added an emoji for you.

what about these?

after it:

I guess you selectively read posts as much as you selectively apply your garbage time criterion

No. I posted exactly what you posted. Word for word. You accused, then made up your question before posting my one word you cut out of a response that would have made your made up question ignorant.

You made poo up about me. You lied. And now you claim it was “sarcasm”. You need to stop digging.

I had a feeling that they were hoping for a Jake Delhomme type fairy tale season with this Teddy signing.   It is so like Hurney to think like this that he got lucky with picking up a Saints backup once that he can pull it off again.  You just confirmed what I have suspected all along.

I would be happy for the Panthers to get any of those QBs. I like them all.

I just feel the losers mentality that many of the people in this joint subscribe is toxic. Gladly, the team doesn't appear to have it yet and ultimately that is all that matters.

Damn....you know I didn't think about that. This really is Hurney 1.0.

Nah, they realistically knew that this was far from a playoff year. No one in the building expected any different. You don't draft all defense and think you have a shot of winning more than a handful of games this season.

It's a losers mentality to accept ones fate?  All the hype and cheering in the world can't hide the reality of how poor this team is put together.  But hey, Keep Pounding!

See here is where people get frustrated with you and think you are trolling.  Its not a losers mentality its simply being realistic, looking at the roster, seeing the injuries and how these seasons typically go.  Whether I want them to win has no effect but I can look at who is on our team and who we are playing and see we are in for a long season.  A #1 draft pick type season.  It has nothing to do with hating or not being a fan its simply common sense.

I didn't lie about anything.  I'm not needing to dig anything.  I'm sorry I've upset you by questioning your definition of garbage time being based exclusively on coverage, and that I then got you to admit it wasn't.  That's my point.  For me, as I've said repeatedly, garbage time is more related to the score and time in the game than it is what either team is doing during it.

We are arguing semantics, which I find amusing.

Some day maybe we'll have something more interesting to debate about.

Edit: Sorry my sarcasm was unclear and you took it at face value, I thought the context would make it clear.  I'll make sure it is clearer next time.

Nah, that ain't it.

Some people here got legitimately upset that I posted something positive about a Panthers player. Something real, today. You know, reality.

Getting angry over reality because it isn't doom and gloom? That is losers mentality.
