QB Watch 2021: Kyle Trask on a Burrow-esque trajectory?

Trask had another very strong outing against a better defense in the Gamecocks.

Kyle Pitts is also an absolute madman but Trask is really coming together.   They've got A&M coming up.  Another gradual step up/ranked opponent.

IF he can keep this up against the SEC's brutal schedule. I'll be impressed.

I like him and Ellinger. I will say though, I live in Texas and it seems like Ellinger has been the Longhorns QB for like 10 years. They haven't been a completive championship team during his tenure. Not that that is on him, but I do wonder if that makes a difference.

The only opinion that counts is Brady’s and he may have his eye on a second or third day pick.  We’re a long way from the draft, but if at some time they announce there’s been a trade to Carolina....I would bet it’s to take a QB.

Slow release, mediocre arm strength, and playing with a ton of talent. I'm not sold. Good for him for having a good game statistically, but honestly he threw up a bunch of prayers. His receivers (Pitts specifically) were just talented enough to go get the ball. He looks like a career backup in the NFL if he is lucky. Just being honest.

I would rather have Pitts than Trask. Not that Trask is bad, but Pitts....wow. What a year he is having.

Same thoughts. That second TD was not a well thrown ball and would be a pick in the pros. Had he gone back shoulder, I would have been very impressed, but that was a prayer.

TD #4 was great though. Threw the receiver open and only where he could catch it. The thing that impressed me the most from the video was Pitts.
