But the value is greater to pick up a stellar QB there, than it is trying to find a diamond in the rough in rounds 3-7.

Why do you jump from top 5 to rounds 3-7?

How many solid franchise QB's were drafted after pick 5 but in round one do you think? Take a look around.

Because you're not finding a diamond in the rough in the first round. Which is what I was talking about, nor the second round. Even though, you're more than likely not getting a great-HOF QB in the second round. There are outliers (Brees), but those are few and far between.

Thats fair. As a Panthers fan though I think it is normal to hope for better from him. No rookie QB is guaranteed to be even as good as Teddy. I'm not interested in that game. I'll support Teddy now, and if there is a rookie QB I will support him too. It isn't difficult.

Marty Hurney is still here, hope is hard to give in some places. Now Chinn, Burns and  Brown can have my hope for now. Teddy can have my respect but I just don't see or fell the hope.

And there is always the looming comparison he can't escape in the room that I will save for the end of the year but thats completely for the coaches and GM evaluations, even if Teddy is the measuring stick.

Yeah third game in with a new team and no preseason. Hey since u want to keep bringing us this dumbass 11 tds number let's make a bet. You and your tank for Trevor posts has to cancel your account if he throws for more than 11 if not I will. I will be waiting for ur response......

I have to cancel my account, and nothing happens to you if I win? Boy that type of bet sure seems like a winner for me.

I can't stop posting here. Because I get weirdo's like you following me, asking the owner of the website to ban me, and constantly shitting on my post. I have to continue to post here so your weird ass can continue to have something to do on this Forum. You're welcome, bud. Keep up the good work being an odd ball.

These are the stats of a middling QB.  Not going to win many games for you, nor will he lose many games for you.  It's neither good nor bad, it just "is".

its the same exact nexgen stats of the Saints the past 2-3 years.   you're over generalizing.  yes they need to be better in the red zone, but this is the system that works when combined with a good defense like the Saints.  if u want to dog the Saints too then that's fine, but u can't praise one and dog the other.  And can i also point out again, this is the THIRD friggin' game.  no preseason.  literally just the 3rd.  can we all exercise just a molecule of patience?

Lmao that's what I thought but but but Teddy won't throw but 11 tds this year. Go on with your dumb sh!t posts and trash the team every second you get.

Bryan Cranston Mic Drop GIF

Not trashing the team, just know that Teddy isn't the answer once again. Go ahead and keep quoting me and following me in a football Forum, bud. Keep up the good work! I love having a person follow me around, it's the cutest thing. Reminds me of my dog.

This is what people are missing. It's not like Teddy is this unknown NFL commodity. A few still have this pipedream that Teddy is going to wake up one morning and become a legit franchise QB. It's just not going to happen. If you put him on an absolutely dominant NFL roster, you might have a chance but good luck pulling that off in a hard cap league. You simply can't compete for championships in today's NFL with a QB like Teddy. The Brad Johnsons and Trent Dilfers of the world would have no shots at rings in today's NFL.

what exactly is your sample size that you've closed the book on what kind of QB Teddy Bridgewater is from the bubble of Carolina?  You do realize this is Bridgewater's THIRD year don't you? or maybe you don't.  He had a rookie year, a sophomore Pro Bowl year and a missed 27 yd FG from beating the SB champion Seahawks, and then been in the hospital or on the sidelines for 4 years by a freak injury, capped off by a 5-0 stint in New Orleans which got him this job.  After this season submit your dissertation, even mid-season your notes might be a little valid, but it's ridiculous to declare anything on Teddy's inability to win in Carolina at this point.

It would be a lot easier to take your questions, and opinions serious if your name wasn't Teddy Time.

I get it. 100%.

Nobody here thinks we'll draft a Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady. We have to go for the Lucks, Newtons and Staffords of the world.

All the teams that strike qb gold with later picks, build great teams all around. The panthers dont, Hurney wont ever do that.  We need a Newton or Luck level qb have a chance.

Heck, even when we hit on a Newton we fail to build around him - in players or coaching. So who knows with Hurney.
