Thursday Night Football Thread anyone

On paper they are clearly better, but it's all about execution. We both have accurate QBs and defenses that can get to the QB. We both have a run stopping monster in the middle of our defenses. They have more talent, but if we out execute them then we'll win. Our team is way better than I thought coming into the season, and our coaches have been outstanding. Edge goes to the Bucs, but if we have an A game and they have a B game we've got them.

Would've beaten them in the first meeting if not for Teddy's anomaly game... They don't scare me at all. Aints still the team to beat in our division if you ask me.

While its too early to tell right now, the Bucs do have a very good run defense.  Their pass defense isn't quite as good, but they get pressure on the QB, so they will be able to do something.    And their offense is probably going to get better as all the pieces and parts learn to work together.

    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
    • I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
