Teddy doesn’t care

A quick note regarding the sideline thing...

Bridgewater was asked about that and said that he considered trash talking Brees by telling him that we were about to score a touchdown, but he didn't want to jinx himself.

Given how things turned out, that was probably a good decision.

It's why I loved Cam, bc I was the same way when I played competitively.  And no, not everyone has to be as expressive to prove they are competitive, but Teddy sitting down with Brees and them in the middle of a potential GW drive and yucking jt up with them is not a guy who is obsessively driven by winning.

I also had a problem with Cam, even tho he didn't smile or laugh, it seemed like he sulked and withdrew.

Not quite the same as fire and energy.

Or perhaps he should have and the universe would have rewarded him for having some on-field moxie.

My words are carefully chosen there because the man has overcome a huge hurdle just to be back in the field, so desire is beyond question IMO. Moxie/guts/'it'/ that je ne sais quoi on the other hand appears to remain deeply in question.

This fan base used to have major problems with Cam’s ultra competitiveness. I remember against the Saints some years back Cam was taunting them while they exited the locker rooms or something to that effect and this place was up in arms about it.

Now our QB chums it up with his old pals mid-game and barely gets a mention.

Weird times.

I wanted, so bad, to see teddy comeback to the line with determination, after the trip and late hit.

I wanted to see the defense react to the hit too.

I just didn't see it, and pretty disappointed about it.

Atl just took 2 dirty hits in one play.

I was kind of the opposite.

When I saw how his eyes looked on the sideline, I wanted him to sit down and not come back in the game at all.
