It's not that I'm knocking him but he's not doing anything ground breaking. At this point someone like Scott Turner is just as good, Someone like Byron Leftwitch and Eric Bieniemy are better, and Kyle Shanahan, Sean Payton, and Andy Reid are still the best offensive minds in football.

I'd say that Leftwich and Bieniemy are typically going to get downgraded because they play for coaches that are considered the architects of their respective offenses. For better or worse, I am sure that is the perception.

That's a pretty safe bet to take. What do you want to wager on that?

Let’s clarify the wager. Are you saying Brady won’t even get an interview this offseason? Or not get a head coaching job? Because I am not willing to bet on the latter. But him interviewing? I definitely think it’ll happen.

I completely disagree, Brady is probably going to at least get interview requests from every team with a head coach opening this offseason.

Every? Nah. We are 19th in yards znd 21st in points under a first year coordinator.

No interviews is more likely than interviewing for every opening.

I think Brady is likely to get some interviews, but my gut says they might even be as much about getting a feel for him with an eye towards down the road. After the scouting combine, teams retain their player interview info for every player they spoke to, because you never know when you might have the chance to have that player on your team down the road even if you don't draft him.  I could definitely see some teams interviewing him not because they are serious about hiring him atm, but because they view him as an up and comer who they expect to be around the league for a long time and are taking the opportunity to get a feel for him.

Well you said he would get an interview request from every open coaching position this offseason. I'd take that bet allllllllllll day long.

You don't think that Quinn didn't get fired because we beat Atlanta?  That was the last straw.  Then we shut out a team that was looking to turn the corner and make the playoffs.

We were supposed to be a walkover.  You can believe what you want but many of us believe WE WERE the reason both Quinn and Patricia got fired.

I actually mentioned that in a post last week before the Lions game.

Agreed. We weren’t supposed to compete at all. Beating Atlanta and Detroit wasn’t the only reason, i.e. they were both clearly on the hot seat, but losing to us was the final straw. For Atlanta, they had owned us even when we were better since 2015. Us winning at Atlanta and shutting out the Lions caused the firing.
