And now the 49ers. Bad loss.

4 of their 7 losses are to teams with losing records. Meanwhile they've only beaten two teams with winning records. I agree with the previous poster who said they're not a very good team that's floated by a weak SOS. They're 25th in the NFL in SOS.

The Cards probably just out themselves on the outside looking in for the race to make the playoffs. If the Bears beat the Jags tomorrow, they're in over the Cards. The Cards have the Rams in their final game while the Bears have the Packers. Both are likely to lose those games, but the Cards probably have a better chance against the Rams than the Bears do against the Packers.

Steve Smith is still Steve Smith. They were talking general stuff on NFL Network and Smith ripped Steelers receiver Juju Smith-Schuster a new one, asking whether he wants to be a football player or an Instagram star.

Smitty is still a dock, particularly toward other WRs, but is he actually wrong?

Smith-Schuster looked like an absolute star a couple years ago playing opposite Antonio Brown. He's probably a big part of the reason why the Steelers were comfortably parting ways with Brown. Since they parted ways with Brown though? Smith-Schuster has looked like a JAG. But he's dancing on the opposing teams logo in the pregame and poo like he's the man.

Ok, you all set back and I am going to drop some math on you...

The SF win helped the Panthers in 2 (two) ways:

1.  The 49ers (forty-niners) just went to 6-9, which means that they would not be in the "5 (five) win pool"  if the Panthers win a game, the niners would not be involved in the tie-breaking process.

2.  The Panthers played the Cardinals, and the Falcons did not.  At the moment, Atlanta seems destined for 4-12 (.250).  Their current Strength of Schedule is .539 with games vs. Tampa Bay and Kansas City remaining.  It is likely that it will go up.  The Panthers have a .532 strength of schedule with Washington and New Orleans left.  The likelihood that Washington loses is higher than KC/Tampa Bay.

So if Carolina drops their remaining games, they would probably (based on probability and outcome) draft before Atlanta.  Atlanta could possibly be looking for a QB, or would be willing to trade out for defensive help--regardless, they should not be a problem.

If the Bengals win either one of their games and we lose both we would be at the 3rd spot as well and there is a better chance of the Bengals winning than us winning with the remaining schedule. So we are all Bengals fans the next two weeks.

Yes--I think they can beat Houston, but pulling for bad teams is frustrating.  I think we will beat Washington--I feel it.

If Washington loses it would spell all kinds of bad for them. It basically means either Dallas or NYG win the div. It's a playoff game for the Football team because they can close out their div with a win against us. Same for the Saints, if they beat us they get a bye.

How so?  Green Bay can go 1-1 over the next 2 weeks and still get the #1 seed over NO.  Either way, SF winning helped us a lot today.  Thank you Kyle for bringing us 28-3 and a good win today.
