Agreed. It's Teppers first rodeo doing a GM search so he's being thorough, and without someone with over 20 years in NFL experience by his side to bounce his thoughts off of, he's gonna make damn sure he flips over every rock first.

I did! Had the Zoom meeting and all... They said they had more calls to make though

I can understand the attraction of being the person involved in the hiring of a coach as a GM compared to being the person hired, in part, by the coach. In general, whichever was hired first is likely (not always) to hold more power.
