We'll make the playoffs, but we'll have to do the play in mini tourney, and if we get healthy, we can move on.

I read over the weekend some folks were saying the team they don't want to catch is the Hornets.  We just have to get healthy.  All teams deal with injuries, but we've been hit hard.  If we get everyone back, we can make noise, but this team won't beat the  "big 3" in our conference.  We don't have the front court.

Get some playoff experience, and head into the off season looking for a center.  For the first time since the new Hornets came into existence, we have building blocks, and hope for a nice long run of being a contender.

Enjoy the ride.

should be a playoff game atmosphere tonight.

"With four games left in the regular season, the Charlotte Hornets host the Denver Nuggets in a game that may decide whether it takes one win or two to advance to the playoffs. The Hornets are hanging on to a razor thin lead over the Indian Pacers and Washington Wizards for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. The seventh and eighth place teams only need one win to make the playoffs versus two wins for the ninth and tenth, so there’s a considerable amount, for which, to play.

The Nuggets come into the Spectrum Center dealing with their own interesting play-in scenario. They are in 4th place in the West, one game back from the L.A. Clippers."

Even if they have the firepower to come back, they don't have the defense.

      When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.

      Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
