Yeah honestly if I'm Houston, I don't give a damn how I personally feel about Bieniemy. Bieniemy + Watson is going to make a better team than any other coach they might hire + whatever qb they're able to draft or get in a trade. Just swallow your pride and sign him and pray that's enough for Watson. It's not like Bieniemy isn't qualified anyway.

If I am Bieniemy I wouldn't want to work for the Texans....I mean even my grandma knows why they got "interested" in him all of a sudden.

Of course he has interviewed so much that he may just interview and accept to be able to be a HC.

Of course he has interviewed so much that he may just interview and accept to be able to be a HC.

There was word from one of his old teammates that he didn't want any part of that team.

They only recently requested to interview him though. I don't know whether he's responded or not. The interview couldn't take place until he's done in the playoffs anyway.

Yep, they didn't express interest in interviewing him during the first window after the regular season was over and now have to wait until KC gets beat. 

If you are truly interested in a candidate why didn't you get in on the initial window?

Texans trying to cover their sorry azzes with this move.....

Their search firm didn't identify him.

The same search firm that identified five GM candidates not named Nick Caserio.

To his credit, Caserio rebooted the coaching search but it's an unholy mess.
