Yeah and Brees missed a wide open target the other night too.  What's your point?  All and I mean ALL QBs miss a wide open target.

Bullshit. Good QBs may miss wide open receivers with pressure, but does Mahommes, Watson, etc miss in the situation that I posted?

This is like saying that Dwayne Jarrett isn't a bad WR because Larry Fitzgerald dropped a pass.

I'd take Trubisky over TB.  To me it is the contract that makes the difference.  One year deal to prove himself, why not.

He was like 7-3 as a starter.  Yeah they let Foles come in and save the day against the Atlanta, we know how to throw a game, Falcons.

He's a gunslinger, which I am ok with.  He'll make mistakes but he'll also make some good plays.

Unless we grab Lawrence every QB on the board has question marks.  If we cannot land a QB in the first round of the draft than Trubisky might want to come home.

That's not bullshit.  Brees had a wide open target  in the middle of the field just like your picture and decide to throw to the corner instead.  Incomplete.   They even pointed it out.

They're both not starting caliber QBs but Trubisky has some awful decision making.

He threw for more TDs this year in 10 games than Teddy has ever thrown in a season. Teddy's career INT percentage is 50% higher too. I'm not sitting here arguing that Trubisky is the answer, but he's better than Teddy. Teddy turns it over more often while throwing for less TDs.

ok and Brees sucks ass now, like Trubisky

He lost for the same reason we want to get rid of Teddy. He couldn't throw deep.

They brought in Winston to make the only long distant throw of the night.

Brees was a great QB that could make those throws, now he's only a more accurate passer underneath.

TB knew it and showed why he's done.

    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
    • Sounds like Veesaar is entering the draft. He could always test the waters and pull out and return but without him our big men look like a serious liability. Better do something in the portal. If they don't do something about this portal madness my days as a college sports fan are probably numbered. This bullshit of having a nearly entirely new team every season is gonna get old fast.
