Then say that, but you said they didn’t pick up the phone.

I said they're not responding to offers or returning calls, and they're not.

One reporter (Breer maybe) got that directly from a front office guy with another team who'd made such a call.

Say its a 50/50 a QB drafted at #8 is legit. Now there another 1, 2 2s, and 2 young defenders to build with with having the most valuable thing is all of sports.

Watson loons heres some hard pills to shallow facts- Hes had 2 ACLs injuries, both legs. Lead his team to 4-12 record, while being 'elite". Will be paid close to 40,000,000 in 2022, a rookie QB will get 780,000 (cap hit of 4 million).

Why?!?!?

Buffalo traded the No. 22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, as well as fourth-round, fifth-round and sixth-round selections. It received a seventh-round pick along with Diggs.

Viking took justin jefferson, who if not for Herbert would have been the clear ROTY.

Bills also had to re-do Diggs deal- The tweaks included increasing Diggs' 2020 compensation by $3.3 million (to what is now $14.8 million), reducing 2021 cash by $300,000, but also increasing the 2021 guarantee by $7.7 million to $11 million, and finally, reducing 2022-2023 cash from $25.55 million to $22.67 million.

Diggs had a GREAT year, give me Jefferson on that rookie deal plus picks 10 times out of 10.

The Indianapolis Colts announced a trade with the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday, sending the No. 13-overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in exchange for All-Pro defensive lineman DeForest Buckner.

Immediately after making the trade, the Colts signed Buckner to a five-year deal with $21 million per season, according to multiple reports. This deal makes Buckner the second-highest defensive tackle in NFL history.

SF used pick to draft Javon Kinlaw. Look at the difference below compared to 21,000,000 per. He also had a great year, both Kinlaw and Bucker.

In both cases the teams panicked hardcore, if they just used the pick on the player, they would have came out in greeeeaaaaat shape. I hope Panthers are not ready to panic trade and ruin the rebuild.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
