Brutal injury makes him a bit of a wildcard but I'd much rather offer a backloaded contract for Dak than give up 5 picks for Watson. We could make the numbers work by doing something like 5 years $170 million, $30 million signing bonus, $30 million guaranteed base salary in 2022 and $20 million guaranteed in 2023 after a certain date (so $80 million total guaranteed) but only a $2 million base in 2021 for a 2021 cap hit of only $8 million. Not sure what kind of actual contract he'll demand but given the injury, that seems at least competitive given the possibility he won't return to pre-injury form.

How good is he though. 

He's not a top 5 qb.

Where do you rank him?

1. Mahomes 

2. Rodgers

3. Wilson

4. Watson

5. Brady

6. Big Ben

Through last year I probably have Rivers, Stafford, Breese, Allen,Ryan

All ahead of him in no particular order with Herbert closing fast.

 

Do you think he can win a Superbowl or is he just Romo 2.0?

I don’t agree with this list at all. Dak is easily top 5 in the nfl. Not his fault the franchise he plays for is ran by an egotistical idiot.

His numbers was better than all those qbs before he got hurt. He would have been going for MVP, go back and check it out he still had more yds than the next qb for like two weeks after he got hurt.

Yeah but stats don't equal wins. Lots of empty stats out there. How is he situationally? 

I just don't get the clutch "it" from him. I don't fear him. I fear those other guys but not him. 

Plus this injury? Can he be the same?

He has 16 game winning drives, including one in the playoffs. You should just Google this stuff man.

i think Dak and Watson are very similar in performance. Both are solid great quarterbacks and I can’t confidently put one in front of the other... both are elite.

Lol Big Ben?  Rivers?  Stafford?  

Dak Prescott is easily better than those guys right now.

      Plus, all that stuff around his dad being a coach and his kids being athletes...he would have been a different kind of bad from Tepper. Tepper is making bad decisions because he sees every business like a hammer sees every nail. Navarro would have been micromanaging decisions just like Tepper and would have fallen back on his dad being a coach, etc.
