The shootout win should definitely boost his confidence going forward. 

If he can keep this up and hit FA as a 25 year old goalie coming off a solid NHL season, it will absolutely be a BIG boost to his wallet.

Ned was great in the shootout and played a pretty good game, needs to show it the rest of the season though.  His save % was below .900....
