It's gonna be a complicated year.

Lesser than expected salary cap makes it difficult to keep your own while also making it difficult for other teams to sign your guys away.

Might be like watching one of those shows where they see who can save the most with coupons.

I have a feeling it’ll resemble much of MLB’s FA period this year. Some splashes and trades (ahem, Padres) but most of the market sits tight as it resets itself in a way.

I’m prolly wrong AF though and it’ll be a frenzy like years prior once the legal tampering period opens up.

Agreed. Think about it. We feel like we have no cap space and yet we are in better shape than over half the league. Only a few teams have a bunch of room, but there will be a lot of good players looking for a contract with a relatively small amount of dollars available. I’ve even seen discussion of atypical contracts like league minimum salary plus a few mil bonus with multiple void years for pro bowl type talent.

Yes we have some big holes, but our cap situation is solid 2022 and beyond. If we can continue to draft well we will be set up well.

    • Helllllllllllllll no on Tyreek, not even on a vet minimum and if he was playing at his peak abilities. We have way too young of a WR room to bring that head case into the locker room, there is just no way I want him around any of our WRs.  The things that make him great aren't things that can be taught, they're his natural born athletic gifts, so there isn't anything useful he can teach our guys and would just be a bad influence on them. Same goes for Stefon Diggs. Allen I'd love, he'd be a great mentor for T-Mac and Coker, but I doubt he plays anywhere other than with the Chargers or a legit true SB contender this year (and only small odds on the latter there, likely Chargers or nothing I'd guess).
    • On the new site if you don't have access to your old email I have the solution.    You will be give a chance to recover your account.   The site will ask you for your username and your old email.    If those entries match what is in the huddle database, you will be given the opportunity to input a new email address to reset your password with. You can then login and change your profile however you want.  If those entries don't match, it will be ignored.  This seems like a very simple solution. Once everyone is happy and migrated over we will remove the tool.
    • a lot of folks online saying "who?" I just keep replying, the guy who outplayed Puka Nacua in back to back games on national tv, that guy.
