Referring to me? If so, let's talk. Let's not generalize it.

No, he was referring to me. You  see because of a few, the term "Optimist" is now considered a mental disease.

Because you are an Optimist, you can't see any faults.

Because you are an Optimist, you can't be critical.

Because you are an Optimist, you don't understand football

Because you are an Optimist, your opinion is devalued.

Ah the Huddlez, you gotta love it.

If it makes you feel better, those same generalizations have been applied to me for years as a emotional and reactionary poster/fan.

Let us find the common ground.😂

That's the funny part. To any Cockeyed Optimist, being called a Homer is a compliment. lol I don't know why they are so threatened by us? Probably some deep seeded fear that keeps them from ever being happy. lol

I do my best to only respond to post that have a chance at being a little bit positive. I just have so much excitement for this year. I don't want to mix in that negativity. Or at least I try to be a good boy. lol

As far as I can tell we haven't lost a game this season.  If and when we do then we all can join in on the hand wringing and finger pointing.  I'm not sure how that is being rah rah about anything.

Now this is the true “realist” perspective…not the reactionary cringe that people try to pass as “realist”.

If all you get is the side eye, you will sleep much better than the husband of this woman.

The wife's favorite gibe; "You have to sleep sometime" After 30 years. I think she may be bluffing. I will be honest. The first time she said it, it did give me pause. She can be kinda scary.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
