yeah that's a good way to install YOUR CULTURE, correct??? .

but on another note...

He talked about seeing Will throw more. That's a good sign...but also telling about how much less Sam is actually being discuss getting reps in-game situations...shouldn't the QB who just got the playbook, get more. I mean, what haven't they not seen from Will at this point? he was here all last season.

I don’t care about Will Grier getting reps.

I’d like our projected OL to get some real game reps.  Darnold too.  Rhule even went into detail how the practice reps his starters got don’t compare to the preseason game reps.  OL isn’t getting cut.  Everyone is staying on their feet.

backups had a ton of penalties in the game.  Starters got to get that worked out too.

those guys haven’t earned the games off playoff teams have

Horn.  I want him to get reps.   His game needs work.   Preseason is where he should be learning his college grabby play doesn’t translate and where the new lines are drawn.

Will Grier can kneel down milk the clock down for all I care lol

He looks tired and pissed.

The offsides penalties were maddening.  On the set of 3 offsides, after the first one, we should have went to on first sound, or on the snap.

The block in the back call was bullshit.

I think there are some of us here who are just as tired and pissed that we had to watch a game where the First Team did not even take the field and are feeling doubtful they will in Game 2 no matter what Rhule says.

I wonder what the world would look like if RR had rested our starters in the 2019 preseason against the Pats.

No reason to go out and put our ones vs his twos.  Sure watching our 1st string dline destroy some guys would be fun, but would be even less meaningful.

Sam throwing against lower tier players is just as pointless behind an oline that would look elite against that D.  It'd be like an NFL team playing a college team.  Sam and the 1's aren't gonna get any meaningful reps from that.

Beyond that, what does that do for the Colts watching his 2's go against a much higher talent level?  Eason would have been sacked 19 times.  Why would Reich agree to that?

Some of y'all don't think.

Darnold would had played and looked bad, and that would've look bad on Rhule. Your no 1 QB struggling against other teams 2s..smh

Even freekey zekey has to get his  grunt in huh...

    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
    • Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
