Officiating was horrible... but i'd like to see the replays of the defensive offsides...4 of them...

This...they never showed a replay when they called our Defense offsides.  Maybe once and then it was very questionable and they never did it again the rest of the game.

These refs were in for some down home Texas cookin'.

It was bs. I know exactly what happened, NFL wanted to put the league on notice for being more strict on offsides and made an example of us. Texans probably whined before the game to nitpick us on it.

They won't do anything because these agendas to influence the games in specific ways is coming from the NFL themselves.  As I've said for as long as I can remember - anytime big money is involved, anything can be corrupted.  Seeing poo like tonight legit made me have horrific flashbacks to Superbowl 50 and realizing that none of our team's hardwork or accomplishments meant anything, because I was watching everything our guys worked for just stolen from us, right in front of our very eyes, and there was nothing we could do about it.  I felt so sick and violated.  We knew what was happening, and we couldn't do anything to stop it, no matter what we tried.

Yeah this is exactly what it is.  It's about ratings, they don't want people to stop watching because of a blow out.  They may fail at that sometimes but do a good job at it mostly.  That and "storylines" get pushed.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
