David Tepper is the real issue

Sad to say it guys… David Tepper is rich crony fat cat who got rich off of nepotism. He cares more about his “entertainment” company getting rich off the citythan the panthers winning. You’ll have better luck watching his stupid soccer games.  Dude has never had his own company and doesn’t know how to run a company. But hey if you’re wealthy he can know how to sell you repackaged debt!!!

I agree that Tepper is the problem but for different reasons. His handling of the Cam situation was absolutely dismal and this team has been reeling from it ever since. He may not call plays but him hiring college level coaching staff to our organization shows with the playcalling and poor game management the last season and a half. His tenure as owner has been nothing but a shock doctrine of disappointment.

JR tried and came close a couple of times to winning a SB.  While I appreciated his efforts, he had over 20 years to win a championship, it was time for a change and Tepper is that change.

I'm gonna give Dave at least a few more years before drawing any conclusions about his efforts.

We are only in Rhule's second season as HC and it shouldn't be unreasonable to allow a few more years to watch things play out.  Changing a losing culture isn't as easy as flipping a light switch.

wow... ok

Newton: I dont get why fans get all hurt feelings when a player is cut. Could they have been nicer to Cam when they cut him? Sure, but players are cut everyday.

Team still reeling: No. Cam's performance last year was enough to justify we made the right decision. 2021 Sam Darnold is better than 2021 Newton.

Poor hiring: Rhule was one of the most sought after coaches that hiring cycle. 2 weeks ago we everyone was saying we had the best kept secret in Snow and were saying their good byes to Brady. Rhule by all accounts is at least 1 year ahead with this rebuild. We are not there yet, but building it up.

We have the right owner, right coaching staff and right FO. We are building something special. Just try to stick around long enough to enjoy it.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
