Like I said I don’t think we’ll see him on the first pairing for a while, at least officially. It’s not a knock on him. More a spreading of the wealth and keeping Bear comfortable and able to grow. But ya I get your point.

True, I think he fits what we do better than Dougie honestly, he's gonna have a monster year either way. It shouldn't be lost on anyone that the Isles are a very good defensive team too.

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
