Ok, so Anyone else feel like we are wasting our time with Sam Darnold after his last pass?? after our 3-0 start, I was optimistic about the Panthers and Darnold relationship, but there was no excuse for that pass.

Oline gave him great protection all day to throw on that play and he still threw an interception…

A Franchise QB doesn’t make that throw.

I've said it for weeks now. The better the protection and the more time he has to survey the field, the worse the result tends to be. I thought it was potentially fixable but I'm starting to be convinced that it's not. 😞

Yep. Jets ruined him. Panthers reaffirmed it.

Well here is hoping we can attract a vet QB next year with a trash oline.

Or make a blockbuster trade in a poo qb class…tho at this rate we may have a top pick.

    • All I can say is the Panthers have gone for it on 4th downs more than any other team this year - 27 times - and have converted 67% of them. The next two are the Giants and Lions @ 25 and 23 attempts converting 52% and 56% respectively. So Bryce/Panthers are converting at a higher rate than Geoff/Lions. The only teams with at least 20 attempts doing better than the Panthers are the Chiefs (76%) and Colts (81%) - I looked up the Colts and the majority of theirs comes from rushing. So basiclly Young is between Geoff and Mahommes on 4th down completion efficiency. If you are wondering if they are having to go or it because of poor third downs numbers, they are converting 37% on third downs which is about average so it really isn't that.
    • Thomas Davis had his first ACL tear nearly 2 decades ago. There is nothing similar about the group (I think Wattenberger did his back in the day) or the actual procedure. There have been lightyear advancement in ACL reconstruction.
    • Just win.  my dang wife went out and bought a Purdy jersey.
