Coaching Win

This game is at a crucial point in the season for us. Outside of the Jets they will be the worst opponent we have faced to date. This game is a must win for one reason and one reason only. We have to have a win from the coaches. That would constitute not only a 2 score or higher win but also a win in TOP, turnovers, penalties, under 100 rushing yards, and last but most important red zone TD (not just scoring) percentage. I would also add us scoring more in the 3rd than our opponent but if everything else aligns this should also. A win is not just a win in this circumstance. This team is pretty bad and just beating them isn’t enough we need to put coach them and execute. If we do then build on progress for the next game if we don’t heads need to start rolling like yesterday.

Some of you people are pathetic honestly and just want to troll or complain like housewives going through a mid life crisis. If this is so obvious why isn’t there any coherent conversations based around it. Instead it’s nothing but nonsense and bickering amongst each other about literal nonsense. This post may seem generically general but it was an attempt to start a more focused conversation based around football not the stupidity that is strewn all over these forums. I guess sometimes a voice of reason amongst the self indulged can’t be loud enough to circumvent the allowed toxicity of a community.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
