Quick thoughts:

  • Absolutely no issue with the #1 entry on the list.
  • Is Mariah's *album* that good, or is it just that one song played on repeat that makes it worthwhile?
  • Trans Siberian Orchestra -- alright, seen them in concert, watched the light shows on youtube. I can see why it's there
  • George Winston's December? A surprisingly high showing for what I thought was a relatively unknown album. Nice ranking for this
  • Should we be surprised at the sheer number of Manheim Steamroller albums on this list? I mean, give it up to the founder who also wrote that classic country song CONVOY
  • Susan Boyle made the list at #48? Good for her -- especially to rank higher than Taylor Swift 🙂

      We had Darnold in a terrible situation for Sam Darnold and the team he's QBing. Darnold is best deployed as a high level game manager. He has elite throwing skills but he's disaster waiting to happen when he has to press and a QB has to press on a bad team. Seattle is a great spot for him surrounded with great weapons with an elite defense to lean on.  Swap him and Stafford last night and the Seahawks cruise while Darnold has 3-4 turnovers having to try to play hero ball for the Rams.

      NFL “Script” from September

      This picture was posted by the NFL back in September and shows Darnold and Maye at the front closest to the Lombardi trophy. I personally don’t believe in the “script” theory. I do believe that the NFL will influence specific games to get a more entertaining outcome at times. However, this is gaining some steam online and even got a response from NFL PR.

      In the last 5 years, nearly 10% of the NFL's starting QBs (19% of the NFC QBs) were / are (at some point) on the Panther's roster.  Of those QBs, their 2025 win percentage (regular season) was (combined-- the Seahawks, Bucs, and Panthers) won 30 of 51 games--nearly 60%--in 2025.  At an average of 10 wins per season, a team has a better than 90% chance of making the playoffs.  (Heck, I nearly added Caleb Williams to this forumula since we basically gave the Bears their QB as well).
