Was this post before or after Cam smacked his arm off the defender getting pushed into him? Or Moton with the most obvious hold ever on first down of the most crucial drive of the game. I think the post was at least before the 4th down play with the game on the line when Cam pulled the ball down to run and the defenders were able to disengage to make the tackle like they were covered in crisco.

Oh so Cam had some defenders in his area when he dropped back to pass, shocking, that never happens in the NFL.

Oh the ref called some bogus holding penalties, and apparently Washington Oline doesn't hold.

Oh by the way we got Heinicke down more times than they got to Cam.  So was Washington Oline worst?

This OL people are obsessed. If the QB doesn’t have 5+ seconds our line was terrible. Cam will learn to manipulate the pocket better, step up, roll out etc… with more reps. The OL was not perfect, but played good enough IMO.

If the defense plays anywhere near it has for most of the year we win...

They were a 3 win team in last place, but by Gawd let's act like they were the Chiefs with Mahomes

You can underplay it all you want. You said o-line wasn’t a problem, I pointed out 2 plays where the OL essentially ended the game winning drive for us, and one where our starting QB could have easily gotten a season altering injury. And the holding penalty wasn’t bogus and was so egregious the refs were basically forced to call it. I’m no fan of the refs btw.

What you pointed out can essentially be done about every Oline, every game.

The Oline while not perfect kept defenders off Cam for the most part, and he had a pocket to step into.  I'm failing to see how the offensive line was a glaring issue.

The refs and those bogus holding calls that kept putting our offense behind the sticks was the bigger issue.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
