Well from now on it will be the “Missed Opportunities”, “The other team team gets paid to make plays too” and “It is what it is” from this staff.

Matt is like my good friend from the City who says what is exactly on his mind so folks never have to wonder where he stands on a matter. The negative is that when you have a job like this one, he needs to go against his instincts.

Saying what’s on your mind isn’t a virtue

The fact that Rhule thought it was necessary to defend their drafting is just LOL

He enamors Jaycee Horn and the fact that he drafted him. The host asked about Slater and he gave his Scouting team’s pre-draft evaluation. I don’t think that he has or had any regrets about drafting the person that they did. I think that they were only disappointed that Jaycee was injured and could not finish the year.

Everything you said here is reasonable. Except The issue for Rhule is that he didn’t need to say anything about their draft profile about slater and double down on it when the player was a stud. He should’ve focused on Horn only. Would’ve been much more professional

Hell, we don't even know that because Rhule decided that it was more important to play scrubs in meaningless games than to get rookies in to see what they have during live fire.

That's part of coaching.. Making personal decisions with the players you have.. Not going to Brady sooner not playing Brown at all not playing Robinson more.. Is all bad coaching.. All a great reason to clown Rhule not a interview..

    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
    • Dude he didnt play in pre season.....  he didnt practice at all with the team until the end of October.    I do agree though.
    • Bryce had a hand in the Miami win but not nearly as large of one as Rico and he also had the extra burden of being a big reason we were in the hole in the first place. If we get a winning season he is definitely back for next year though.
