2022 Charlotte FC Game Thread

The team defense was superb last night. There were certainly times when Chelsea was dinking the ball around a lot but our boys stayed calm and didn’t lose shape. I still think overall we had just as many dangerous opportunities as Chelsea, though Chelsea certainly had more possession overall.

Anywho, Chelsea will be fine as they were obviously missing some guys but it was still a big night for our group.

On a different note… what the hell happened to Everton.

In Toronto tonight, Charlotte FC needs to build off of a great performance against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Interesting lineup tonight, looks like a 5-2-3 formation:

GK - Kahlina

RWB - Jozwiak

RCB - Walkes

CB - Corujo

LCB - Fuchs

LWB - Mora

RCM - McNeill

LCM - Bronico

RW - Shinyashiki

ST - Swiderski

LW - Reyna

Subs - Marks, Afful, Lindsey, Sobocinski, Jones, Ruiz, Gaines, Vargas, Rios

Not Included - Sisniega, Zendejas (loan), Makoun, Santos (loan), Armour (injured), Alcivar, Franco (loan), Hegardt, Ortiz, Bender, Mello (injured)

Actually think it’ll end up being a 5-2-3 with Jozwiak and Mora as wingbacks.

So we play Chelsea and now Lattanzio wants start with a back 3? Lol

so maybe a 3-4-3 like Chelsea deploys
