Rhule will have no excuse

you’re mostly right…but Rhule chose his QB, it’s not a decision he hasn’t made, don’t let him blow more cap on a FA

unless you let him sign a 5th year, gut a draft and fug a franchise for shits and giggles

with that, he made the statement he could win with Darnold. let’s fuging see it

That’s what I’m saying. Rhule demanded that we give up three picks for Darnold, he should be forced to win or lose with Darnold.

Kind of a short history don'tcha think?

I'm not defending him but we're stuck with him and hopefully he's on the right track.

I, personally, cannot hope we suck just to see him go.  Firing him and bring in another coach may or may not be the answer.  We've seen teams go through coach after coach and limited success.

My hope is he's learned from his past mistakes and improves as a coach.

Many on here just want him gone regardless of how 2022 goes.

Eh...27 years. He is the worst coach in the history of a fairly bad franchise.

Rhule IMO will have no excuses this year.

We've addressed the offensive line to where we should, at minimum, be competent.

We have one of the best offensive line coaches in the league.

We have plenty of talent at the skilled positions on offense.

Our defense appears to be shaping up and we have a good coaching staff on defense.

Whatever they decide for QB is on Rhule and he'll have to live with that decision.  Whether a Vet FA or Darnold or a rookie, it will be on him.

I think if he lets McAdoo do his job and stays out of the play calling he might survive.  If he mettles and cost us games it's all on him.

I'm sorry, without a proven NFL signal caller,  everything else is moot.

There's a better chance of this team going undefeated.    deadpan bill murray GIF

I look forward to the inevitable trainwreck.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
