Who Would You Bring Back?

easier to say who i wouldn't bring back among the starters...

jake, moose, hoover, peppers (unless it is uncapped next year and we can't get a trade), kemo, lewis, diggs, godfrey, kasay, lloyd, baker.

godfrey, marshall, and vincent would be demoted....although i might consider cutting godfrey as well. i just can't see where he is a strength anywhere. he's cheap, though. don't care either way. i do say if he stays he'd better make sure he's an asset on special teams because that would be the only real argument for keeping him.

I don't think many people need to go, to be honest.

Much of it would depend on what positions we draft. I think Moose and Jake should both stay, but as a No. 3 receiver and No. 2 quarterback, respectively. We need a legitimate quarterback and then depth, particularly on the lines.

Agree. Just put Jake as #2 & let see if Moore or a better QB from the Draft can help us. But I would like to still keep Moose as #2 or #3 WR though. He still got it in him, not to mention he can still block that I want to keep. Or maybe a Proehl type & make Jarrett be like Moose when Proehl was here with him.

Get rid of Jake.

Get Gross and T. Davis Healthy

Draft a Qb with 2nd round pick

Draft a DT with 3rd round pick

Draft the fastest wr left in the draft with 4th round pick

Open Competition for 2nd CB between Marshall and Munnerlyn

Sign a Veteran QB to possbily start (while rookie is groomed)

D-Line: Brayton, Kemo (assuming healthy), Tyler, Peppers (rotate in Brown, Johnson and Lewis on passing downs)

LBers: Davis, Beason, Diggs (Connor and Anderson as primary depth)

Secondary: Marshall/Munnerlyn, Martin, Harris, Gamble

Offense:

O-Line: Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Vincent(possible FA), Otah

TE: Rosario, Barnidge (I would lose King....too many False Starts for my taste)

RB: Double Trouble with Hoover (if he can come back healthy)

WR: Smith, Moose, Jarrett, Drafted reciever

I think a new coach with a qb who minimizes turnovers can make this team competitive next year. A passion must be instilled on the defense and the offense must be managed

    • 339. WR Moose Muhammad III, Texas A&M Muhammad, the son of former NFL wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad II, is adept at using his body to keep coverage defenders away from the ball. He generated a 119.8 passer rating when targeted in 2024, ranking 25th in the draft class. 255. WR Kobe Hudson, UCF Hudson brings point guard-like movement to the receiver position and makes for a fun watch due to his short-area quickness. But his limited long speed and questionable catch rate likely make him a mid-round projection. 183. DI Jared Harrison-Hunte, SMU Harrison-Hunte is an intriguing prospect to develop, considering he has the frame to fill out and flashes very good athleticism (4.86-second 40-yard dash, 1.69-second 10-yard split). He needs to improve his pad level, but he uses his athleticism effectively to defeat blocks at the line of scrimmage, posting 44 pressures with eight sacks in 2024. 171. G Luke Kandra, Cincinnati Kandra's athleticism and measured approach to the game give him the floor of a solid zone scheme backup and an average starter's ceiling. The end result will depend on his ability to play with better pad level and flexibility.
