Who else is jumping on another Teams bandwagon for the rest of the year?

Don't root for any team then no matter what & I'll stop this bullsh*t comment. Look around at others here who will stand by their team, even when they want Fox & Jake gone too.

Im just a realist and know that if they are back next season, we are going nowhere. There's no point in getting hopes up and rooting for them when it will be yet another trash season.

I've been a fan since '93, I watched the Panthers play in Clemson stadium, I watched every game of the 1-15 season. The difference between that 2001 season and right now is because A) I was only 15-16 and didnt know as much as I know now about football and B) Even though they lost 15 games, at least most of them were exciting.

So you can stop talking out of your ass and acting like you know what you are talking about because you don't.

Ill always pull for the panther first. But I don't think it's bad to root for another team in other games or playoffs as long as its not with passion as your real team.

Id like to see the colts go all the way.

But one or two who are rooting for another team also say they won't root for their fav. team anymore until some folks (like Jake or Fox, etc.) on their team are gone. That the problem with some who call themself fans there.

the responses to this thread are stupid. of course you can root for other teams. its not like rooting for another team is somehow going to cause the panthers not to make the playoffs. jake has single handedly taken care of that. i am a fan of favre and the vikings and would love to see them win the superbowl and shove it up the packers ass! or on the afc side, wouldn't mind seeing the chargers finally win one as i was a long time fan of the fouts days before we got the panthers and wouldn't mind seeing LT finally win one for his contributions to the game.

when your team sucks... it's not sacrilegious to pull for other teams. the notion otherwise is just silly and childish. (oh wait, i forgot what forum i was in)

Some people take their fanhood too seriously. I mean, if the Panthers were still in playoff contention, I'd understand, but I would find it harder to enjoy the playoffs or the Super Bowl if I wasn't pulling for a specific team. It's not bandwagoning.

So with in mind, I'm going to root for the Vikings in the playoffs. They were actually my original team before I went local back in 1998.

I will be pulling for Jake to have a minor ankle tweak that will force John Fox to put Moore in. (*NOTE* that I normally do not wish injury on anyone and I don't want anyone to suffer pain but a minor ankle sprain isn't that painful and damn it this is the only way Moore will get put in)

Pretty much this.

It'd be nice to see the Titans win out and win the Super Bowl. It'll be tough. But nice. I've always liked Young. And this would be a great Fairy Tale ending for him.

Of course if the Panthers somehow win out course I'll be pullin' for em.

    • I don't think so. I think once you're measuring electronically, the spot is where the sensor says it is. So if it says half yard short of the line to gain, that's the spot. Now how that works with scrums and the ball moving on two minute drills and poo is anybody's guess.
