Thats not really the progression, the plan could very well treat him like Mahomes or Lance but you have you know treat him like Mahomes and lance.  You cant just completely ignore him.

Willis was a much much bigger project and they somehow by the grace of God got him to the second string.  Thats coaching and thats having a clear plan on how to get a qb to speed

Willis has an advantage in athletic ability alone. He is using that to compensate for not going to progressions. He just competed less than half his passes and took 3 sacks against the Bucs backups. He was also pulled from the first game for running too much and not throwing. Sure it can look good in preseason where defenses are running vanilla schemes, but I’m not sure he is ready to play this year either. Also the Titans are known to only carry 2 QBs so they are trying to get Willis as their backup out of necessity.
We need to stop thinking of Corral as a first round pick because he is not one. Mahomes, Lance, and Rodgers were going to get their chance to play no matter what after what was invested in them. Corral is a project 3rd round QB who has a high ceiling, but he is a project. He fell to the 3rd because teams knew he needed a while to learn and develop.

My biggest fear is that the used car salesman, aka Matt Rhule, does just enough each year to keep from getting fired causing us to be stuck in endless purgatory.  His treatment of Corral, blind allegiance to Temple or Baylor players, stubbornness and egotistical behavior will set this franchise back another decade id we don’t change course very quickly.

I will never root for this team to fail but I will hope that Tepper will cut his losses and refuse to accept this clown head coaching behavior that is holding this roster back. Fitt is doing a decent job drafting and signing free agents. I believe this roster will never achieve its potential with Rhule at the helm.

Ive said since day one tepper made an insane seven year investment. Hes not going to dump that investment for a massive loss. Honestly we stuck probably until after next year

Hes going to hear the boos and see the empty seats if it goes sideways again.  He will not have a choice but to cut him loose

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
