I've been saying it, and will keep saying it...  this dude is going gyo be big time.  I saw it in him last preseason.  He just has a suddenness and explosiveness that can't be taught, and he knows how to get open.  Reminds me of a young, and potentially more explosive Emmanuel Sanders.

WR1 - DJ (TMJ when Moore is not In play)

WR2 - Anderson/TMJ split roles, but Higgins sometimes with Smith in the slot.

WR3/Slot - Smith/Higgins split roles

4 WR SET - DJ, Anderson, Smith, Higgins/TMJ

Other WR's are back up roles.

* This changes if TMJ is injured or traded.

Higgins may have been the best Panthers receiver this preseason. I don't understand what he needs to do to jump Robbie in Rhule's eyes but he's clearly better.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
