Jr did some kind of race there a few weeks ago and now they are doing dirt track racing for a few months after they tear of the track.  I'm assuming Jr purchased the track recently

I think the same company that owns Charlotte Motor Speedway owns it. This it part of "Build Back Plan". Jr. Did have a lot to do with this idea. Race fans love this news! Great idea to do All Star Race here. Lots of history and really good track. Tickets will be hard to find.

Lost Speedways was a very interesting show.

The apparently scrapped the dirt track idea because it was feasible to tear up the asphalt and get it prepped for dirt track racing in a months time.  You would think they could have figured that out prior to announcing the dirt series.
