WFNZ is quoting reports (unconfirmed so far) saying that Charlie Weis is out as Notre Dame head coach.

Thus, the question arises: Would the addition of Charlie Weis as OC plus a new QB be enough to convince you to keep John Fox as head coach of the Panthers?

If Fox comes back, Jake must be cut. The two can not be on panthers together, fairly obvious there is an emotional relationship there which blurs judgement

Why would Weis, who has spent the last three years in a position that was constantly on the hot seat, go to a team where the coach, if retained, would undoubtably be on a hot seat and his job security be no better than it is now?

it would make it more tolerable. i'll just say that.

we would have to make sure that it was weiss who was having control over the offense. it would also have to be fox's last chance. his contract runs out after next year so if JR didn't want to pull the plug on fox and just let him ride out his contract then i could see it.

i would prefer a change at HC, though.
