Refs screwed us

Exactly, the new rule change states that incidental contact with a QB's helmet or arms are no longer considered roughing the passer and that contact was very much incidental. The league supposedly stressed this to the teams so an explanation is needed and somebody needs to be held responsible for not following it especially when you also include the Fake Spike Intentional Grounding into the situation.

The New Orleans Saints launched a whole social media campaign to get the attention of the NFL over that no call alleged pass interference from their playoff loss to Minnesota a few years ago and nobody gave a poo. If anything they actually were ridiculed even more. We sound no better. If we show up with a proper gameplan and looking like a real NFL caliber team capable of scoring points we won't put ourselves in position for the refs to control outcomes. Play better for four quarters not two. That's on coaching.

We had the lead at the end of 59 minutes, so that is patently false.  Arguing that we should always have an insurmountable lead with a minute left shows a lack of understanding of the modern NFL.

The last minute got us the L, with a lot of help from the refs.

BTW time to settle up.  Here's your avatar:

Enjoy!

The first 59 minutes have more to do with the outcome in reality than the last minute.   Coaches and players speak on the fact literally every season and every week.   And yeah, we lost because we were complete ass most of the game.

I’ll change it when I’m not on my phone

LOL  Bad example dude.  They actually changed the rule that year on review for pi/no pi.

The point is valid tho.  Nobody gives shlt what anybody posts about anything on this board.

You can spit in the wind all you want here, Tepper will fire Rhule when he is gd good and ready.  Right now, if he's reading it, he's laughing at all of us.

If that was true, we should have won, because after 59 minutes we had the lead.  If the game ended at 59 minutes we would have been declared the winner.

You're trying to explain away the importance of game management, clutch performance, GWDs and 4th quarter comebacks  just so you can lay the entire cause of the loss at Rhules feet.  Rhule fncked up big on Sunday, but the refs decided the winner.

Oh, and McAdoo and everything went exactly as I told you it would.

He went pass heavy.  More heavy than Joe Brady.  And he ran the same predictable poo he got ran out of NY doing.

Try to spend some of your time focusing on the current coaching staff.

We lost because we were an unprepared team, with a bad gameplan and poorly coached.  Your trolling is just a bore.

Except who started at QB.

Well, you aren't going to bat 1000% trying to predict the nonsensical moves of a clown like Matt Rhule.

and I see you just glossed over how horrifically wrong you were about what McAdoo (and this offense would look like).   But that's generally what you do.  Ignore the reality and focus on the troll.  It was exactly as I told you it would be.  Pass heavy and painfully predictable.  Exactly what he got run out of the league doing in NY.

...and you predicted we would win.

I tried to be optimistic and that was one of the easier games we would have.   I had to go find games to make up 7.

But the game itself played out how I said.  McAdoo's predictable O.  Being more pass heavy than Joe Brady.  The QB/C exchange issue.  And the D struggling to stop the run and rush the passer with the blitz.

and you were wrong on everything.  Matt Rhule was the same joke from 2021.  Horrific game management and game planning. We weren't run heavy lol.   I mean, McAdoo is our OC.    Matt Rhule could sell you a 1989 Buick for 40 grand lol.

I'll give you the pass heavy O and the D stuff.  Many people here predicted that.  I was hoping we'd go pass heavy to preserve CMC and leverage DJ,  Robbie and Baker... and that is exactly what they did.

Our early game struggles came from O showing early season jitters and gelling issues.  As for McAdoo's O being "predictable", if that was the reason for our early game struggles, how did it become less predictable as the game wore on?
