Canucks are beating on Jarvis tonite. Like he's got a target on him.

His target is that he’s the size of a sixth grader, luckily his on ice awareness is much better than Skinner’s was at the same age.

Jarvis has taken some big hits in his career but I think the only one that’s done damage was the the ridiculous check to the head by Trouba.

Well… even though we haven’t looked great… we are tied with Pittsburgh for the division lead.

Final

CANES 3 - Nucks 2

Goal 1 - Svechnikov (7) from Necas (5) and Burns (4)

Goal 2 - Aho (4) from Jarvis (1) and Burns (5)

Goal 3 - Fast (1) from Staal (1) and Skjei (2)

Even not looking Great we were 2 completely empty net goals from Edmondton from OT and a lot OT loss with our backup..... Agaist Calgary...

Those two goals that were wide open for Svech would have given us the win.....6-5 because we wouldn't have had to pull Freddie.  Also, if we were even a bit more disciplined and not gone to the box so much we would have beat Edmonton.

Also, we should have beat Calgary too.  Kadri took acting lessons in the off season and was "tripped" by Staal's skate laces and then Raanta gave up a terrible goal that tied the score at 2-2.

Anyways glad to get 7/10 points, but some really bad luck for the Canes too.

A W is a W and 2 points, but we should have walked away from them tonight.

Vancouver’s losses mostly have been by 1 goal. This fits exactly what that team has done this year. Great win by the canes. Canes after dark is over. Ready for some home game action Friday and Monday!  Let’s go canes!!!

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
