Cam Ward being compared to Mike Vick. I can see it.

What. Cam ward isn't vick. Like not close. Vick without doubt easy 4.3x if not faster in the 40. Wards not touching that. And vick light isn't good as vick at this stage couldn't pass. And ward did the last 2 years. So wtf is with that comp.

Vick was the best (for a short time) runner at QB the NFL ever saw. Now he couldn't pass to save his life till way late in his career. Jackson's the closest to prime vick as a runner. And Baltimore is much better all around than those sorry falcons teams vick played for.

Hated vick was a falcon.

So gotta be a top 4 of:

UGA - LSU

UM - Purdue

TCU - Kansas State

USC (w). Utah or Oregon

Outside is now OSU and bama. Idk if anyone else can get in. USC (w) likely only team of the top 4 that must win to stay in.

Agree, so the match ups nearly set see above

Georgia and Mich will be heavy favorites

TCU beat KS by 10 earlier this season

USC lost to Utah and didn’t play Oregon (team with toughest game left IMO)

Georgia, Michigan, TCU and USC seems likely

Ohio State needs a loss by TCU or USC to get in IMO

I can't. Vick was next level fast. Made really fast guys look slow type fast. This kid is wish.com Vick. 😂

Honestly, if vick trained for the 40 like some do today, he may have been 4.20 or better. He had both a ridiculous top speed and off the line burst. Too bad he was a falcon, and well, a convict.

I meant more from the escapability aspect. This is the first time I have seen him play. I thought Cam Ward was a goalie. 🤣

Prepare for the hollering because USC is gonna get left out.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
