To be fair, what Fields is doing right now isn't something you can sustain long term. He's going to need to prove he can be a way more consistent passer, especially at clutch time.

As to the others, I don't know that Stroud would succeed with a defensive coach. Young might, but you've still got the issue that you absolutely have to protect him.

Fields just threw an int to seal the game. Just a bad read and throw. DB read it and the receiver never came back to the ball.

It's certainly not his fault that he had a lousy coach to start off with, but it does make his path to success just a little bit harder.
