Them Crooked Vultures (abbreviated as TCV) is a rock music supergroup that formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009. Made up of drummer Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Probot, Queens of the Stone Age, Scream), vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal) and bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), the band also features Alain Johannes (What Is This?, Eleven, Queens of the Stone Age) as a live rhythm guitarist.[1] The band's self-titled debut album was released on November 16, 2009 in the UK and November 17, 2009 in the US.

I saw them pre-release at a small venue when I was down south in LA. We were joking about Dave looking like Dave Grohl and my buddies nephew (who knows him) had him come to us and chat.

Dave is a really, really nice guy and he ribbed us about our comments that he "looked like a Dave Grohl wanna be and wasn't good enough to carry Dave's drumsticks",

He sent us the album about 3 weeks before it dropped and it became one of my instant favorites....

Grohl was the most talented guy in Nirvana, hands down. Everyone that has met him as a fan or as another famous people say he's a good guy. He's lent his studio to bands to help them record and all of this. He'll go play drums in a band like this one to just have fun. And he's pretty respected in the music business too and seems to be pretty good on the business end.

    • Think the "official time" put out was 4.48, but there were a lot of scouts there who of course all had difference times as it's all handed timed by them.  Think I saw it as low as 4.43 and as high as 4.62 or something, but in the end it's all basically the same speed because 40 yard dash is so pointless. Anyone who complains about his speed is just someone who wants a Chase/Jefferson/Nabers style #1 as opposed to an Evans style #1 who isn't going to beat you because of his speed but his other abilities. In the end, he's fast enough for a player his size and surprisingly quicker and more agile than people give him credit for too. The real problem is that Panthers fans can't get our past big WR failures out of their head, they hear "big WR" and automatically see a plodding KB or Jarrett in their minds and assume that's also T-Mac.
    • If you are buying Silver Club, 300 level, try and the buy ones that have the Lot 1 parking pass.  it is steps to the stadium Also, buy on the shade side my PSls used to be section 342, under the overhang.  I didnt care about sun or rain plenty of sites have interactive  maps that can show you   Just know, if they are opposite side of 342, the sun will beat on your head…endzones too.   if, you know for sure that you are going, and you need a hotel room, do it now  you can always cancel … remember, even if the panthers suck,  the national press follows them as do their fans.  Hotel rooms go fast for that game
    • didn't he run like a 4.52?
