I was referencing the injury history and not the contract. Seems like CMC didn’t have a problem getting on the field when having something to play for. Lamar can deny it all he wants but he plays at the end of last year if he were under contract.

He was under contract. Heading into FA it was the KEY year of his contract. If he milked it down the stretch expecting to get paid that was a serious miscalculation.

CMC was iron man prior to getting paid. That's how you do it. Gotta get that bag first. Then you can milk it.

I want Lamar myself, but understand if we dont pursue him. Everyone has just lost all sense of logic. Media gets mad when they are called out, always stating they only report truth. Bullshit. They cause illogical outrage and then act innocent. 

Im bringing this back up to prove how poo the media is. Turns out the reason we didnt want Lamar was because we wanted to move to #1 in the draft and get our own QB. There was no collusion. fug the media.

      I have no concern about the knee because his surgery was done by the Cowboys doctor and they badly wanted him. To me that’s clear that they know he’s making a 100% recovery. I still very much ease him in this year, and never be a featured back this year, no matter how good he looks.  Ideally he shouldn’t ever get more than 12-15 touches in a game, even by the end of the season.   Then in year two we take off the reins and give him 20+ a game and hope he can be the 3 down stud that he has the potential to be. November is a late ACL tear, no need to over load the knee in the first year of a roster rebuild
