You can’t judge a guy based on one preseason game as a rookie under a Matt Rhule coached team.   Brock Purdy became somewhat of media darling last year. He led his team to the NFC title game despite being the last player taken in the 2022 draft and showed that he belonged in the NFL. He would have looked like every other QB who played in Carolina from 2020-2022…average/mediocrity to terrible/awful.

There isn’t a single talking head in the sports world that I actually wish bad things to happen to. Physical beat down. Maybe health wise to catch a horrible illness. I wish no ill on any of them. They are all just a gimmick with kind of a pointless job. 
 

Except Mike Florio. This guy is a plague on the world and the sooner he can no longer speak the better off the planet will be.

I believe Sims also had Zach Wilson above Trevor Laurence as well.

      I'm used to people crapping on the panthers in public spaces. I used to have to defend Cam fugging Newton until I was blue. I come here to talk Panthers and it is literally the same 5 posters you see in this very thread saying the same things, every single day. it's not about having tough skin, it's the constant negativity by the same people. its boring, its annoying, it clogs discussions. this place has really changed and I regret signing back in. I only have like 5 mins a day to spend consuming panthers content and its always the same posters and same crap. we used to have a 6'6 gunslinging battery ram, and he would constantly get dragged through the mud for not being enough, or doing this or that or not diving on a fumble. at the end of the day, it's a people problem. people love to bitch and complain. they'll never be content, they'll never just sit back and root the team on. we had one of the best teams in the NFL on the ropes to move onto the next round of the playoffs while the stadium was alive and well and that wasn't even enough to just enjoy the show.

      Anybody else see that the panthers have the fewest miles travelled of any team this year? Don’t know it matters too much but it can’t hurt 🤷‍♂️
