I think Levis and Young is the clear top tier, then Stroud, then Richardson. Teams are panicking last minute, particularly the Colts who very much wanted to take Levis at 4. Don't you just love the draft season!

I think it's Stroud and Young by a mile, but it only takes one team to fall in love with a player.  Especially a QB.

Maybe Houston won't trade with the Colts due to being division rivals so the Colts are talking to us to jump them?  Just another random theory...

Draft season is one of my favorites!

If the Colts offer next year's 1st to move from 4 to 1, plus 2nd rounder or so, I think it would hard to say no, even if the Panthers were to end up with Stroud instead of Young and Levis

I'm just speculating, but I think Houston decided to take Levis at 2 and the Colts are weighing options, because their owner is in deeply love with Will

Maybe we really like AR and Stroud.  Let's say the Colts trade with us for next year's first plus some.  They draft Levis, Houston takes Young, which leaves us with AR or Stroud at 4 depending on what happens at 3.  So we would recoup our next year's first and maybe more making the trade DJ and a future 2nd to move up to 4 and get our QB.

-This is all for nothing as we are probably staying at 1 and drafting Young, but at least it is something interesting to talk about.

Young is my QB1 but I think I'd be fine to drop back to 4 and settle on Stroud/AR if it means landing a haul of draft capital.

I still probably have Stroud as my top, but Young is a clear 2 or 1B.  I honestly will be happy with any of the top 4 with this staff we have.  At the end of the day it will be Young at 1 though.

And what if Young goes on to be a star and our QB flounders?

This is just the laziest possible take. This scenario applies with whichever QB we ultimately land on. What if we take Young at 1 and AR goes to the moon? At the end of the day this thing is a crapshoot, and we aren't paid the millions to decide which player is going to be best.

Not saying it's going to happen  but  i said that Indy is the wildcard to  it all because Houston is right below us. It would allow Carolina  to get draft compensation  and a Qb. All it takes is 1 phone call from Indy and Houston hear of it and we have some movement. Gms always get antsy on draft week and the hype drives egos. We will see but I could definitely  see Indy n Houston battling it out to get to 1....  I was told no way  by some but anything is possible

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
