Yall went from trashing this dude to now he could start day 1.smh

Titans have no weapons outside of Henry. He has nobody to throw to. Not sure his start will be as great as people seem to think. If they trade Henry then it will be really bad for Levis.

You tagged the wrong person. I’ve never swayed on my comment about Levis. even during the draft.

Titans have a young receiver core. They could add talent for sure but treylon and Westbrook have shown they can play at NFL level.

If Levis starts early he will have some growing pains along with that young titans roster. It will be replicate of joe burrow when he had no weapons either.

Levis was Lady Cowboy Fan's favorite among our options.

I wanted Stroud but was good with Young...just nervous about his durability.

That nervousness will remain until it's proven to be misplaced.

Levis won’t be sitting. He will be starting by week 5. He is the only QB in this draft (outside of young) that could start day 1.

He already has a leg up because of how many pro systems he has been in. So the learning the playbook isn’t going to be a monsterous task like it is for most rooks.

I wouldn’t be surprised, but if Tannehill is still looking decent and they are in the playoff race (some big ifs), I think he sits. If they look bad and are out of the race I think they go ahead and start working him in.
With their OL still being retooled and lack of weapons it might be better for him to sit. Next year they probably flip Henry for some change and add some weapons.

This comment confused the hell out of me. Joe Burrow has had weapons on every level of football. Dude has 2 #1 WR's in college and pros.lol

Mahomes has it between the ears too.

There are plenty of guys who can "rip it" and...not much else. For some, that's the most important traits to look for.

I prefer a guy who has what Young has.

No one should be looking for the next Mahomes. He is a damn unicorn that landed with an offensive mastermind in Reid. His mental makeup plus arm strength is extremely rare not to mention he does things in the field that a QB should never be coached to do. He just somehow makes it work.

Mental makeup is the most important thing for a QB. Burrow, Brees, Manning, Brady etc became HoF QBs with average or below average athletic ability because of their mental makeup.

I will say this though. With Young’s brain and our staff, I could see him becoming an upper tier QB in the NFC sooner vs later. Mainly because most of the elite QBs not named Hurts play in the AFC. Also Stroud, AR, and Levis all went to the AFC so life will be harder for them.

His rookie year the Bengals didn’t have too much. It was an awful OL that helped him get his ACL injury and a rookie Higgins. He probably had Mixon but again with no OL. One he got Chase and Higgins started developing the offense became elite. I believe that’s what he is referring to. Also he has been a Levis fan since we started talking about this group of QBs.

They were not good yet or past their prime during Joe’s rookie season. They didn’t have a receiver over 1k in yards and tee Higgins as a rookie was the highest at 900 yards and Boyd at 840. They didn’t have a rusher over 450 yards.

Joe had names during his rookie season but they weren’t who they are now yet. He had AJ green as a shell of himself as well.

2020 was not a year where the bengals were stacked like they are now.

He never had a Oline in Cincy.lol

His Oline was bad last year. Burrow doesn't need much time to get the ball out of his hands. Chase/Higgins are open even when they are not. Then you have Mixon who is also a threat. He's got some of the best weapons in the league.

I'll give you 1 year. But what about the other years and his college years?

Jefferson/Chase cmon that's literally 2 of the top 3 WR's in the league today.

I mean even his second year he was breaking playoff records for most sacks taken in a win and that was after some improvements from his rookie year. It was bad and the Bengals were clearly the worst team in the league the prior year. They earned their top pick QB.

The Chase comment is the whole point and we agree. When the Bengals drafted Chase plus Higgins had a year under his belt the offense became elite and life was much easier for Burrow. His rookie year was a different story.

Yeah I admit his rookie season he didn't have much help. But that's the only season. He has had stacked WR's for a majority of his career. Crazy to think this dude played with 2 of the top 3 WR's in the league in college with Jefferson/Chase.

You don’t think Stroud will be QB1 in Houston right away? All he’s gotta do is beat out that jabronie Davis Mills…
