Supposedly....

  • Paramount+ will stream the pre-season game between Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers on August 25 at 8 p.m. ET
  • NFL Network will carry the other two (including the Jets game)

No word yet on whether these will be affected by any regional or blackout rules

I didn’t realize this was still a thing. If it is I doubt it would be for preseason

Luckily I think the YouTube Sunday Ticket includes the preseason now. So I won't have to bother with NFL Network anymore.

Not according to the chart here

https://support.google.com/youtubetv/answer/13316318

It says preseason games are viewable on YouTube TV, but not for Sunday Ticket by itself. That's because YTV will carry nfl network or other channels that will air games.

All Sunday Ticket phrasing suggests it's only for "Sunday" games regardless, so anything airing on Thurs or Sat typically wouldn't be on ST anyway.

Of course, all subject to change when it's game day and we see for sure

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
