Yes I'm ignorant to these types of things. I have 0 clue where anyone should be drafted. For the second time in a week, i heard someone say he was a second rounder, this time it was Mel Kiper Jr. So I will ask the experts here, is this right??

Sounds right. 2nd round for a QB is still really high up.

Yes, there are questions about his arm strength and the fact that he does not play in a pro style offense.

However, QB's move up and down the board significantly based on their combine numbers and private workouts.

I agree with what MadHatter is saying...I don't know how he will do in the NFL but I hope he does well and would love to see him go to a good organization like the Panthers but I don't think he will be there.

QBs from a spread offense can do well but they have to sit and learn. the only ones i would trust getting the start right away come from a pro offense and even then is isn't a guarantee (trojan QBs not named carson palmer=overrated).

colt could be good. he's got all the intangibles but he also could very well be the product of the system. he would be a risk for sure so a 2nd rounder with 2nd round salary makes sense. i'm not really seeing tony pike ahead of him but i can understand it.
