NFL executives rank the teams

The Panthers rank 10th, making them the second highest team from the NFC South. Only the Saints are higher at 6th. The Falcons and Bucs are 13th and 14th respectively.

The top five are the Eagles, 49ers, Lions (yes, Lions) Cowboys (😒) and Seahawks.

Rounding out the bottom along with the aforementioned NFC South teams are the Bears (12th) Rams (15th) an dof course, the Cardinals.

Ranking just above the Panthers at #9, Ron Rivera and the Commanders 😕

Based on the avg rank...looks like the Panthers should be ahead of Washington.  Every other team rank is by that avg.

Median lessens affect of outliers in data. At least that's what was drilled in to my head by Six Sigma. God thats an old memory

    • Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.
    • No one is upset.  And what I referred has been happening.   Patrick Mahomes has an offseason basketball clause in his contract.  A ton of other physical activites like jet skiing, baseball and all sorts of physical activities are written into his contract.  XL likely already has ATVs and stuff written into his contact.  League already has been inserting a lot of that stuff into basic contracts for non-top tier players and we have seen it pan out.
    • A payment for future production, puts him a cane for 9 seasons.
